I just came across some interesting information on Vitamin D deficiency. I know that has been a discussion on here and I've been trying to make sense of the whole thing, given the dire warnings about spending too much time in the sun and the risk of skin cancer. It just didn't make sense to me
that spending time in the sun is inherently harmful. We know we need to spend SOME time in the sun to make vitamin D, and now it's being recommended that babies be supplemented with it if they are breastfed (see I did tie it in!). This article makes a lot of sense to me and I wanted to share it.
