Can you share with us more precisely the patterns of weight gain you are
seeing? I had mentioned before that my daughter Lisa was a consistently
slow-gaining baby - never gaining more than 4 ounces in a week - yet was
alert, healthy, active and doing plenty of peeing and pooping. I have known
some others who fit into the same profile, and I think that it may just be
an individual variation.

Sometimes the mothers of those babies will mention that they themselves were
slow-gaining babies even though they were bottlefed, so I really think it is
often genetic.
