Well, we do have magic wands with a substance that kills cancer cells, heals
infections, calms the nerves, warms the spirits and has fed invalids now and
in the past.
The milk from a newborn's nipples is called witch's milk in my parents Dr
Spock.
Witches were accused of suckling from a secret third nipple.Were they using
human milk for healing right up to their extermination through the mediaeval
witch trials? The Doctor, a newly emerging profession taking over from the
midwives/witches/wise women was always to be found at witch trials and first
evidence of witch craft was looking for evidence of suckling.
History is always written by the winning side and I wonder how much the
healing power of lactating women has been written out of history.
My sympathies for the problems your facing but remember you are doing
something very powerful and scary to a lot of people by helping women to
lactate.
