Greetings.... Well, we survived our JCAHO visit and I want to thank all of
you who offered suggestions earlier in the Fall.  As you mentioned,  two of
the areas of concern on Mother-Baby were refrigerator temperatures (and a
protocol to follow if the temps are not acceptable) and nutritional
teaching.  We will need to document nutritional teaching to our new Moms in
addition to providing them with the information on paper.  While both of
these areas of focus relate directly to our breastfeeding Moms, the
reviewers had no questions specifically about Lactation, nor did they ask
to speak to me or the other LC.  Too bad..
