  first off, I do not understnad the connection between bf and
hypothyroidism/ the mother discontinuing to bf with not "self correct" her
thyroid condition.

 second, Eltroxin is not contrindicated while bf. although it is believe that
small amounts may transfer medicating mom will bring her to an euthroid level
( normal level) at which point she will not transfer anymore that she would
if she did not need assistance to be at a "normal" level.

  there medication info in is Hale/ and I would expect that there is support
in Lawrence.
