Barbara..
have you tried having him eat yogurt? There is some
controversy if it works or not but it cant hurt?
As you know the gentian violet is messy stuff. If you
do use it I would put play clothes on him and you and
keep him confined to washable surfaces.
I wish him a speedy recovery.
