I'm sorry if this is off topic but am interested in others views: the
previously mentioned magazine I referred to is of course chock full of ads
for numerous pieces of ah. hem "baby equipment". (that always sounds kind of
like a car ad," comes fully equipped with x,y,z"-I always thought us moms had
all the "equipment necessary, breasts, arms, heartbeat...)
There seems to be more and more baby holders (bouncy seats, cribs, inserts
for same) that vibrate. Has anyone thought to study the safery of exposing
the infant's developing brain to vibration? EMF's? Besides the unfortunate
risk of detachment mothering, are these (unnecessary; sorry these irk me, in
case you haven't already noticed) contraptions posing risks to
newborns/infants?
