This is a timely subject for me, as I just finished reading "Having Twins"
last night after finding out a week ago today that I'm having twins! (At a
mere 22 weeks into the pregnancy!) One of the chapters I read last night did
talk about this, so I'm a bit confused. It stated that where Singletons
usually don't start to slow down in growing until around 36 weeks? I think,
that multiples are there at about 30 weeks? and triplets around 26-28. Those
weeks might be a bit off, but it's basically along those lines, which made me
also wonder this exact thing. Everyone of course tells me not to expect to
carry these babies 39-40 weeks that twins just come earlier. Well, when ARE
twins considered full term? Are they considered full term earlier than a
singleton?  Are triplets considered full term earier than twins?  The book
never really answered this other than saying growing slowed.
I searched the archives this AM also, prior to reading this on twins. it was
helpful to see a few women here who did exclusively bf twins as even though I
know it can be done, I'm getting all of this "helpful" information daily
telling me that it's just too much and most don't do it for more than a few
weeks. I don't even consider just a few weeks an option though!
