Lisa,
Some time ago I tried cabbage on the swollen glands on my daughters neck.
She had come home sick from school, glands enlarged and throat sore. She
wanted to just go to bed but indulged me in trying cabbage on one side.
She didn't want to lift her head. She woke up, came in to me and was
mad. She asked why I hadn't put it on both sides since the side with the
cabbage was now normal and the other side still hurt! We promptly
wrapped the other side and saw the swelling go. Now whenever she gets a
cold and her neck swells,(there is a familial tendency to that) the first
thing she asks for is cabbage and ace bandage (to hold it on.) I have
also used it on injuries such as sprains, all because of what I have
learned about cabbage and it's use with breastfeeding mothers!
