<<Did La Leche League ever do a study on their phone
tree and how effective it is? If they didn't do a study, why do they
continue to offer that service, did they write up some objectives and feel
instead that they were obviously met? >>
I believe that La Leche League intended to provide mother to mother support,
via meetings first of all and that phone help is simply an outreach of that.
La Leche League is a non profit organization and has quite a bit of
information on the effectiveness of their services. Did you try looking at
their website for more information? Internet search? Sounds like you've got
a lot of work to do finding answers to your questions. W hen you find the
answers please share with all of us? I'm sure others will be able to use this
information to plan a program or write a grant application. Good Luck with
your search.
