Mothers in the UK *often* get advised to drink more when they are
worried about milk supply, or even if they are not worried.
In fact, if a mother is told by her health professional that there is
an issue with her milk supply or the baby's growth she is very likely
to be told
* to rest more
* to drink more
* to eat a 'healthy diet'
This is far, far more likely to be given as 'support' than any
suggestion to feed more often, or an offer to check effectiveness of
the feeding.
