You know, I think we try really hard to comply with the rules, try hard to interpret them, try hard not to offend anybody, and seem to have these periodic bouts of "etiquette" problems. Maybe we try too hard and try to be too perfect, and then get into reprimands, counter-replies, and on and on. Reminders and clarification are helpful, but I do not think that anyone deliberately breaks "rules," and we are all pretty nice people doing some really good work.
The outright inappropriate posters are so obvious and appropriate action is justified. How about we try to live and let live?
Just my opinion. Sorry to keep the chain going longer than it needs.
