Catching up on mail--Pat wrote:

How many of these mothers--too impatient to wait for their babies, too distrusting of nature to allow the process of birth to happen, too trusting of medicalization to ask about the risks of interventions, too oblivious to recognize the insanity of forcing babies into the world--are going to trust nature enough to overcome the post-birth trauma bf disasters we all see everyday? I truly believe that we have an obligation to actively promote normal birth.
