Last year Diane Wiessinger wrote about trying gentian violet on toenail
fungus. She had used it for a while and thought it was working.
Well...................I have a husband who was fighting toenail fungus
with the cream stuff (don't know name) and he wasn't impressed with how
it worked. So I suggested he try good ole gentian violet. The pharmacy
had to special order it, but he used it for months and lo and behold, he
has nails that are now smooth and NOT fungal! He spread it around the
the edges of the nails and under the ends and he's a believer. So if
gentian violet is available to this mom, we know it's OK. Mom will have
purple nails--we teased my husband about how his feet looked--but she can
do her whole nail and pretend it's nail polish. :)
Warmly,

PS The bottle of gentian violet cost $1.28!!! and there's lots left
