Hilariously warm and fuzzy, Patricia.
<........unilaterally feeding my 16 month old daughter.......currently
started working 12 hour shifts........ Last night I cam home and when I
took the bottles out of the case, my daughter stared making noises (loud
ones!) till I gave her the bottle with a straw in it ( is an advent and
has the one top attachment for =
straws). >
Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried this with younger babies?
Newborns even????? With a smaller gauge straw? Or is that essentially
what process is involved in fingerfeeding and SNS, alongside a nipple-or
nipple sized object? Is this direct "suction to the straw" something we
might have overlooked for supplementing when it is absolutely necessary?
