Has anyone ever compiled a list of the "advantages of breastfeeding" -- that
is, advantages to mom and baby for feeding at the breast vs. feeding
breastmilk from a bottle.
I think this sort of thing may be useful for those moms who are on the fence
about whether or not to put the baby to the breast and are interested in just
pumping and giving their milk to the baby.
If we haven't done it, maybe we should -- starting with bottle feeding leads
to increased incidence of malocclusion.
What else? Remember, we are not giving the benefits of breastmilk vs.
formula here, but feeding at the breast rather than feeding from a bottle.
