A Canadian TV investigative news program, "W-5" will be airing a program on Sunday, Nov 25, that features how formula fraud funded the terrorists.
The TV advertisements for the program are featuring a bottle-feeding baby and show a can of Similac.
Janice Reynolds,
Consumer Representative, Breastfeeding Committee for Canada
From the CTV website:
How large-scale crime in North America is funding terrorism is the subject of "TERRORISM, INC.", the first segment of the one-hour season premiere of "W-FIVE", airing across the CTV Network on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET (check local listings).
The half-hour documentary exposes a multi-million dollar scheme where thousands of cans of tainted and expired baby formula were repackaged with counterfeit labels and boxes and then resold as fresh formula. The proceeds were then channeled to terrorists in the Middle East. The fraud continues to this day.
