Being a paranoid New Yorker, I've never published any kind of personal
information (wedding, birth announcements, etc) in the newspaper, or
anywhere else for that matter. Had to be the hospital, it certainly was
not my midwife or pediatrician.
Good luck with your hospital, hope they see giving out patient names and
addresses as a violation of confidentiality.
