Well, at least I have good news to report.
If you recall, I had a mom who's 10 month old was biting. After gentle (?) admonishing baby burst out crying and refused the breast. Many of you had responded re: nursing strikes, but I don't recall a 5 day strike being mentioned, but nonetheless, I recommended to the mom lots of patience, cuddles, love and understanding, and plenty of opportunities for skin to skin. (I think Barbara had written to me that she had a similar situation, thanks)
Slowly the baby started responding and now, after perseverence and about 3 weeks later, the baby is fully back to breast. whew!
