Hi. Is the baby tongue tied.?
I would go to Jack Newman MD's description of Latch at
www.breastfeedingonline.com, and do some work with the chin touching the
breast FIRST as baby comes in to latch...and have chin buried into the
breast and nose tipping upwards.
I would also get someone to prescribe the all purpose nipple compound cream
that Jack Newman MD recommends, as it has worked wonders for many mothers.
And then figure out what is going on with the tongue..but changing the
latch may really work, ... Kathleen
