This situation must be so scary for the parents. Wanting to bf, and trying
it cautiously and worrying what this might do to the infant's development.
Could the baby be tested periodically? Is there some kind of galactosemia
resource center, support group, or something like that which could perhaps
provide some guidance? Hope this all works out for them soon.
