Hi Gail,
I have found it to be very important to have daily contact with a relactating
mom. This may be as a short phonecall to hear how things are going, urge mom
to ventilate any questions and/or concerns, etc. Homevisit/pratice consult
may be scheduled every 3-4 days untill itīs obvious that things are going
well and just need time to settle. Phonecalls will be less by then as well,
every second or third day till breastfeeding is going well.
