HI all, I need people to help me think:
A mother with a second baby of 7wks has diarrhea (the mother, not the baby)
since a week. 4-5 wks after the birth of her first (also breastfed) baby the
same happened and lasted for months. The family doctor doesn´t know what it
is, but he suspects a connection with breastfeeding and/or hormones. Mom
doen´t want to have diarrhea for months again and asks if anything can be
done.
I must admit that I never heard of breastfeeding and/or breastfeeding
hormones causing maternal bowel problems, but perhaps the more experienced of
you do. I did try a archives search, but no hits. Perhaps wrong search key or
incorrect spelling?
