In one way I´m surprised (as I´ve always been teached that there are no rice 
allergies known) to read this, at the other hand not at all, because I also 
"knew" that <almost< anything can cause an allergic reastion. 
In The Netherlands rice is seen as the one food that even the most allergic 
person can eat and I think I´ve read in diet-literature that in the East rice 
is seen as belonging to neither yin nor yang, so being actually neutral.
Could it be that rice as all other foods can become allergenic if eaten alot 
in a  community?
