The ferry companies here sell bracelets with a bead placed so that it
massages an acupuncture point on the wrist to treat seasickness. It has
also been tested on women with hyperemesis gravidarum.
I don't get seasick, but I have seen people who normally are useless when
aboard ships, dancing and eating and drinking and feeling terrific while
using this bracelet.
They retail for about $10 US, I think. No electric impulses, no drugs
either, and a much less imposing cost.
I don't have purchasing info but I know that the ferry line 'Color Lines'
has them for sale. www.colorlines.no if you are interested.
Rachel Myr
looking forward to two weeks on a 36' sailboat starting Sunday. I really
don't get seasick.
