My favorite success stories are the active duty Army officer who, while out
in the field, would pump her milk and give it to the chaplain to take back
to her baby and my friend, the NASA astronaut, who nursed her son for two
years despite frequent separations and long work hours and is now pregnant
with twin girls and will nurse them, no doubt pumping for them when she goes
into space next year.
