Please, no nuts. We're neither nuts nor crazy. We are serious health
professionals (OK, and allied health professionals, and volunteer helpers,
etc) with deep and sometimes passionate interest in breastfeeding who have
invested our time and energy to learn more about maternal and child health
in order to better help our clients, patients, families, neighbors, and
society as a whole.
We are supposed to SIGN our posts to Lactnet, so presumably we'll recognize
each other by our name tags.
If someone wants to prepare ribbons, dark green was used previously so using
it again may start a trend. I don't think any other interest-group has yet
picked dark green ribbons as their symbol. I wouldn't mind wearing an extra
ribbon on my name tag as long as it's safe for the thousands of babies that
will be there.
But no nuts.
