Gonneke, I remember someone from down under (Australia) posted sometime
last year about using that position for the tubing for ALL babies needing
it so as to deliver the bolus directly to the tongue groove.

It occurs to me also that antigravity positioning, or at least
equalgravity positioning might be of some help in avoiding the flooding
of at least the pharyngeal portion of any baby's airway.
