their July 2001 newsletter list Lamisil as a DO NOT TAKE.

The newsletter article said that liver function must be monitored
constantly on this drug.  The risks were too high for the length of
time it would take for this drug to be effective on the many months of
nail outgrowth.  They suggested topical treatment methods instead.
So it doesn't seem too safe for the breastfeeding mom.
