I've been reading a discussion on the use of cabbage for mastitis. If I am
following correctly, the discussion is using it in the bra on the mastitis
affected breast on a recurring almost bimonthly basis. Is this really an
appropriate use of cabbage? I thought cabbage was for engorgement and
copious milk supply control. I can see using cabbage for controlling the
copious milk supply that lead to the milk stasis that lead to the mastitis.
This discussion is about using cabbage every month or so. It doesn't seem
right to me. I'm wondering if there is a *mechanical* problem like lying on
the breast tissue or tight clothing or something else recurring to cause
blockage. What say you?
