I had a discussion this morning with a client who lives on a kibbutz.
She told me that when the weather is really hot, the cows and sheep
produce much less milk. Today's newspaper mentioned the same thing in
the U.S. A heatwave in the midwestern states caused a reduction in milk
leading to high dairy prices. I wonder if severe heat can cause the
same problems in humans. What happens to the Beduin who live in tents
without a/c or regions of the world where temperatures can reach 40
degrees C? Does anyone have any ideas?
