A couple posts have mentioned that they felt that night nursing
(laying down) made them more vulnerable to plugged ducts. In the
Royal College of Midwives video on positioning and latch, they
suggest having a corner of mom's pillow under her breast. This is
so that the milk ducts all drain down. This would be the same
principle as mom supporting the breast for baby. It might make a
difference.
