I hve searched the archives and can't find this....
There was (I think) a mention some time ago of formula (especially
casein-based formula) keeping babies more 'settled' for longer
because when they digest it, their metabolism produces opioids as a
by-product of the process. So, in a very unphysiological way, they
stay asleep.
Was I dreaming? Or is this correct? And if so, is there a reference for it?
