This discussion got me thinking. I'm down to "WWWS": "What Would Weissinger
Say". Diane, would you consider writing a Breastfeeding Thesaurus? Maybe the
sub-title could be something like 'Weissinger's Guidelines for the Language
of Breastfeeding'.
I have been trying to think about the Lifespan of Breastfeeding in the way I
would think of any lifespan. i.e. you die a premature death, live a normal
lifespan or live to a ripe-old age. I've spent the last 1 1/2 hours mulling
over the language to express the 'Lifespan of Breastfeeding'. I'm sort of OK
with premature 'death' of BF, normal 'Lifespan of BF' is fine for those of
us who know what that means, but that certainly wouldn't convey the intended
message to the masses. And I'm sure the 'BF to a ripe old age' is not going
to fly either.
OK, Diane, I guess I need a refresher on how I can re-think this the
Weissinger Way!
