Are there any web sites out the that discuss this? (over supply) I need some info for a mom and my texts are at work and I wont be back there for 2 days and I think this is what she may have but I don't know they sx and I have never had a mom with this. For the past two and a half to three weeks, the baby has been producing green, mucosy stool which occasionally has mucosy looking blood in it. Sometimes the blood is only the size of a couple of grains of sand, other times it is a lot more obvious. Her stools also come out frothy at times. The blood is not in every diaper, but the green mucos has been pretty consistent. Mom is a vegetarian and the doctor and 70 % of her diet is dairy, doctor told her is was a dairy allergy... what do you all think? Baby is now 6 weeks old and generally a happy baby, mom reports frequent choking and and can pump 5 ounces AFTER the baby nurses for 15 minutes or so and that is all the baby will nurse OR could this be a milk imbalance or does that really exist????
TIA!
Thanks!
CIndy
