I believe it was hear that I read recently about finding out if a Mom with
recurrent mastitis in a particular breast/location spends many hours driving
with a seatbelt putting pressure on one spot.
As I was working out today I had a thought I'd might share here. I do my
crunches on the floor "old style" instead of using the machine for crunches.
To use it correctly you have to have all the pressure across the upper part
of your breasts. The first time I was put on the machine and pulled it
forward, I looked at my PT and told him this would risk mastitis. He did not
look too terribly confused or embarrassed and suggested I just hit the floor
and do them there. Might be a good thing to stash in the memory for working
with moms, since so many hit the gym these days.
