As a mother who is nursing a 5 year old; I am in agreement with Pat, I don't
ask my son to nurse, nor would I at playgroup. My son nurses almost every
night before bed, he has a wonderful understanding that this is "family
business". It's not as if we are trying to keep it a secret but we are
trying to be appropriate. When he was 4 years old he told me he only wanted
to nurse at home. I have respected his feelings.

On a interesting note, I'm pregnant also. My left breast has all but lost
it's milk, I have told my son when the baby comes there will more milk He
told me the other day, "Mom the milk is all gone but that breast will be
REFILLED after the baby comes right?!" thought that was cute!
