I remember several of the LLLI medical advisors years ago stating
that ideally a woman in her childbearing years (not just when pg or
breastfeeding) should not give blood except in extreme emergencies
or is she has a rare type that's badly needed. Of course, with the
situation in Israel and with the recent wedding hall tragedy, these
conditions may apply. Is there a way she can facilitate others
being able to donate - such asproviding child care or transportation
- so that she can feel she is contributing to the need? Just a
thought.

watching the sattelite broadcast of the terrace openings on Mt.
Carmel this last week)
