I apologise if my post sounded like an endorsement of that approach,
which it most certainly wasn't, and I agree that years later the
decision how to feed is a moot point. I was thinking though that if
during explorations for illness later on if one of the health and
lifestyle questions was "were you breastfed?" or "was this child
breastfed?" then perhaps a message might get out there, that
breastfeeding matters. I see that my post was poorly written and will
be more careful next time.
