The list of LLLI materials in other languages at:
http://www.lalecheleague.org/Lang/translations.html
has a couple of pamphlets in Thai. "Breastfeeding Suggestions" sounds
like it might cover some positioning basics. The page also has an e-mail
address for the Pamphlets Administrator who might be able to provide
further info. I don't know if LLI does anything like faxing or
e-mailing the pamphlet contents, but it might be worth asking, since it
sounds like the clock is ticking.
But the mother would probably gain more from the give-and-take of
hands-on helping. Does this woman have any bi-lingual friend, family
member, or maybe even an immigration/ social services employee who could
sit in on the helping session to do some translating? If she's totally
without English skills, she must have *someone* who helps her deal with
daily necessities.
