This is not a hoax.  Exclusively BF baby, experienced mom.  Any idea what
this could be?

My son is 9 weeks old, and solely breastfed. A few times now, I have noticed
electric blue dots on his tongue. They are not accompanied by a fever, or any
other abnormality. They go away and come back with no regularity. MY
pediatrician has no earthy clue what they are, my parents consulted their dr
who doesn't know either.

Thrush, of course, is the only thing that pops into my mind, but the
evanescent nature of the dots argues strongly against that.
