I have not seen the Act itself, but I will see if I can pull it today. I
suspect, however, that a patient can waive their right by signing their name
and if this is the case, I would expect that one of the many admission
documents a patient signs has exactly that kind of waiver language. Does
anyone have any experience with this in the hospital or doctor's office
setting?
