There is an excellent article on jaundice that needs to be in the arsenel of
every LC. *Breastfeeding and Human Milk: Their Association with Jaundice in
the Neonate*, Auerbach, Kathleeen and Lawrence Gartner, Clinics in
Perinatology, Vol 4 No1, (1987), pp 89-107. The article is an excellent guide
for nomenclature (ie types of Jaundice) and causes.
It has helped me on several occasions with the physician who insists
itsbreastmilk jaundice.
