Rather than using the concentrated formula, why not use the system
Paula Meier uses in the NICU in lieu of HMFs? Mom sets aside the
first few minutes of pumped milk, then pumps what will go to the
baby which should have higher fat/calorie content. They use
centrifuges to test the crematocrit over several pumpings to
determine how much of the pumping to set aside and how much to give
to baby. This would seen to be a lot safer than deliberately
misdiluting the concentrated formula (along with all the other
reasons why mom's milk would be first choice).
