The discussion about the Babytalk article reminded me of a survey I read
recently in American Baby magazine. I think the survey is one that is online
but posted in their magazine. It read:
Do you/did you want to recieve an epidural during pregnancy?
yes 60%
no 21%
only if necessary 16%
I wrote a letter to the editor saying how sad it was in this country women
wanted an epidural during PREGNANCY, they don't even want to wait for labor
to begin!!! Sad to me, how disempowering it is to women, no belief in what
our bodies were designed to do.
