Why would a pediatrician recommend that a mom with a 6 month old infant stop
breastfeeding and give Nutra----- formula in its place for the above problem?
 Infant asymptomatic and hemoglobin normal.  Go figure.  Mom did say "It
worked.  No more blood."  She did stop all dairy products in her diet prior
to formula, but blood streaks continued.  TIA.  Loni Denman, RN, IBCLC
