The person who put himself on the line to create the milk bank in Austin is
a wonderful neonatologist named Sonny Rivera.  We have at least 4 other neos
here who have done everything including moving furniture and pasteurizing
milk to help the milk bank.  People like Dr. Wight publish all over the
place trying to advance bfg education. Therefore, it pains me to see
neonatologists all tarred with the same brush.  I think I would be very
insulted and really hurt if I heard a doctor say that LCs were dumber than
dirt. Our job is not to alienate but to educate.

 When I was a girl I loved a story called The Water Babies.  There were two
fairies in that story:  Mrs. Do-As-You-Would-Be-Done-By  and Mrs.
Be-Done-By-As-You-Did.   One was gentle and one rather stern;  both taught
the exact same moral lesson.

Vigorous dissent, backed by evidence, experience, or observation and shared
in the spirit of advancement of breastfeeding is stimulating.  Venting and
name calling in public places is impolitic and does not serve our cause.
