I found this ad for MCTs at

"MCT Power is the purest refined MCT (medium-chain triglyceride) product
available. It’s a dietary lipid which holds tremendous potential as a
performance-enhancing supplement for athletes and as a weight-loss supplement
for dieters under controlled situations. Naturally found in sources such as
human milk, palm kernel oil and coconut oil, MCTs are uniquely distinct from
other lipids. Aside from ergogenic considerations, MCTs are also used in baby
formulas for infants with fat malabsorption syndrome (cystic fibrosis)."
MCTs are naturally found in human milk. Hm... am I getting confused now. So
anyone know what the real story is? So lets see we are going to replace the
fat of human milk with MCT's because why? Anybody got any studies that I can
look at that would explain this situation--other than industry sponsored
studies?? Valerie W. McClain, IBCLC
