< Could it be possible since I am only
producing 1/3 of what I produced for triplets that my body does not know
I
am exclusively nursing, therefore an early return of menstruation?>
I wonder if it might be related not to total quantity of milk produced
but to more frequent peaks in prolactin production. Perhaps 3 times as
many nursing stimulations, and possibly fewer hours between stimulations
would lead to fewer or higher "troughs" and a higher mean prolactin
level, sufficient to suppress ovulation. Just musing.
