reported in Inf Dis in Children July 2001, p.35. Nice big headline too! "Breast-fed premature babies have lower blood pressure as teenagers" Previous studies suggested the link but did not control for possible confounders. "our data provide experimental evidence of programming of a cardiovascular risk factor by early diet and support the long-term beneficial effects of breast milk."
